Antje de Wit

Antje de Wit is the artistic director of the Haarlem-based chamber choir Les Moucherons. She is a choir conductor, church musician, vocal pedagogue, soprano and inspirer. She has specialised in the Lichtenberger© vocal pedagogy, of which sound orientation, sense, resonance and perception are important characteristics. In concert programmes, she likes to seek connections between musical styles, artistic disciplines, cultural and/or spiritual backgrounds.

Since September 2019, she has been teaching voice at the Conservatory’s Music Teacher Training Programme and the Dance and Eurythmy Teacher Training Programme at Hogeschool Leiden. She regularly sings concert programmes featuring the music of the medieval composer and mystic Hildegard von Bingen. Through her company Symphonia, she teaches singing, coaches choirs and offers singing workshops.

Antje heeft de artistieke leiding van het Haarlemse kamerkoor Les Moucherons. Zij is koordirigent, kerkmusicus, zangpedagoog, sopraan en inspirator. Zij heeft zich gespecialiseerd in de Lichtenberger© zangpedagogiek, waarvan klankoriëntatie, zintuiglijkheid, resonantie en waarneming belangrijke kenmerken zijn. In concertprogramma’s zoekt zij graag de verbindingen tussen muzikale stijlen, kunstdisciplines, culturele en/of spirituele achtergronden.

Sinds september 2019 is zij docent zang aan de conservatorium-opleiding voor Docent Muziek  en de opleiding voor Docent Dans en Euritmie van de Hogeschool Leiden. Ze zingt regelmatig concertprogramma’s met de muziek van de middeleeuwse componiste en mystica Hildegard von Bingen. Via haar bedrijf Symphonia geeft zij zangles, coacht koren en biedt ze zangworkshops aan.
