Ceder Rorije

Ceder Rorije (1998), is a conceptual artist based in The Netherlands. Her work revolves around the intersection of commercial and autonomous art, and she strives to create projects that challenge the boundaries between the two.

Her career began as graphic and social designer where she worked for different company’s and projects. During this time, Ceder learned how to effectively communicate complex ideas through visual and verbal storytelling, and how to developed a keen eye for the aesthetics of marketing.

She enrolled in Product design Bachelor, where she focused on conceptual art and developed a signature style of combining commercial and autonomous projects trough fashion and film.

She is fascinated by the relationship between the individual and society, and uses her art to explore the tensions and contradictions inherent in this relationship.
