Nazif Lopulissa presents 'Strange Soil' on October 3 at Buro Stedelijk's Central Space. A curated programme as part of his ongoing process during 'Manifestation #39: To Be Determined'.
Join us for an evening of firsts. During this Manifestation #41: Strange Soil, Nazif Lopulissa will perform, in collaboration with Joenoes Polnaija. The performance is with and around his work: Meeting You for the First Time. A new film created from videos, memories and observations. The film will play on a loop throughout the evening, visually and sonically accompanying the manifestation.
A process that generates endless thoughts and vulnerable stories, forming the foundation of the practice.
What is this liminal space, this feeling of not belonging here or there?
Stepping on strange soil, a chain of reactions being witnessed for the first time. A new documentation emerges, but also a performance process driven, essential to clear the mind.
