UNSEEN

Unseen is an art fair in Amsterdam dedicated to the latest developments in contemporary photography. The world of photography is developing at lightning speed. Contemporary photography offers unexpected perspectives and stems from different backgrounds. We see photographers making use of the medium in innovative, intelligent, inspiring and provocative ways.

Roderick van der Lee, Executive Director of Unseen: “We are thrilled to present a truly global perspective on what is the medium of our time: photography. Galleries, publishers and artists from all over the world will present their latest at Unseen, with many of the presentations being shown for the first time.”

From 2025 onwards, Unseen will move to the NDSM Loods, a monumental industrial cathedral of grand proportions on an old shipping wharf in an area that has been completely redeveloped over the past decade. Unseen introduces a range of new sections, offering fresh perspectives and connections, with photography being the consistent thread weaving everything together.
