Ngozi Onwurah
Ngozi, is a British-Nigerian filmmaker who directed the first film by a Black British woman to receive a theatrical release in the UK, Welcome II The Terrordome. She is a vital cinematic voice of the Black diaspora and has forged an eclectic cinematic vocabulary that spans fiction, documentary and genre spectacle, formal experimentation, and bold political commentary. Her credits include, Shoot the Messenger, Body Beautiful, And Still I Rise, White Men are Cracking Up, Flight of the Swan and Coffee Coloured Children.
Simon is a British producer, with extensive production experience, ranging from both feature films, television drama and documentary projects. He produced the landmark feature film Welcome II The Terrordome, and the critically acclaimed Wreckers starring Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch. Most recently he was Executive Producer on the independent feature Us Among the Stones. His short films include the award-winning Body Beautiful, Coffee Coloured Children, The Other Man and Flight of the Swan.
His television projects include Royal Television Society award-winning, Who Stole the Soul?, the BAFTA nominated Paul Merton in China and the feature documentaries Swandown and Arcade Fire: the Reflektor Tapes.
