Naomi Pire

Naomi (b. 1993) is an artist currently based in the Netherlands. With a keen interest in fantasy and fiction, her work revolves around shaping environments that engage audiences through storytelling and deep listening. Her practice extends to digital spaces, having conceptualised and facilitated online experiences for Dutch cultural institutions and international retail brands.

With a background from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Naomi also has a strong interest in textile crafts, with an emphasis on weaving, using a counterbalancing loom. 

Naomi works as an art handler with Buro Stedelijk and continues to develop her practice and further her research into new methods of textile making.
