Joram Kraaijveld
Joram Kraaijeveld is a creative producer, curator, teacher, and writer in the visual arts based in Amsterdam. With his work, he aims to support active forms of solidarity within and beyond the arts. He produced the film by artist and filmmaker Ana Bravo Pérez Mother Earth’s Inner Organs (2022), with whom he is also developing a decolonial antimonument in memory of female social leaders in the frontline of the climate crisis, under the title If we remain silent. Joram is a teacher at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, where he is also the chairperson of the Editorial Board for Intercurricular Programs. He has worked as a (guest) curator for SMBA, Van Abbemuseum, De Brakke Grond & Museum Dr. Guislain, Schloss Ringenberg, Metropolis M, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Casco Art Institute – Working for the Commons, for a variation of projects on topics such as mining, democracy and documentary films. He is chairperson of association Platform BK, committee member of CAWA, and member of housing coop Het Nieuwe Bajesdorp.
