Frédérique Gagnon

Frédérique Gagnon relocated to the Netherlands from Montreal, Canada, to participate in the Werkplaats Typografie from 2018-2020. Since then, she has been living in Amsterdam and actively collaborating with various artists and cultural institutions, mainly conceiving publications, visual identities for exhibitions and spatial design. Her design and artistic practice is a direct outcome of her research and fascination for the bodily and its transient nature, particularly in relation to the digital realm’s inherent promise of perfection and immortality. She extends these explorations through facilitating workshops, organising cultural gatherings and initiating discussions during guest lectures.
