Sacred Wounds is an intimate ritual that investigates healing as a means of embracing our discomforts, pains, fears and anxieties. It combines the sense of collective healing, solidarity and camaraderie with the strength of witnessing our own transformative journey of becoming.
As transgender and queer individuals, our journey of becoming is one of profound healing and a testament to the power of the human spirit while we continue to find strength in our vulnerabilities. It is a path of self-discovery and acceptance, where we shed societal expectations and embrace our true identities.
The process of becoming who we are is filled with complexities and contradictions. We peel back layers of ourselves, uncovering the beauty and resilience that lie beneath. It is a journey of unlearning and relearning, as we challenge ingrained beliefs and forge our own narratives. In this process, we navigate through a landscape of vulnerability, exposing our innermost selves, and allowing ourselves to be seen and heard.
We believe that by acknowledging our wounds and embracing the pains, we can unlock the doors to deep self-awareness, empowerment, and spiritual evolution because healing itself is an alternative wound and an intimate death toward a new life.
