About the Advisory Board of Buro Stedelijk
The Advisory Board advises the Board of Directors of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam on the artistic direction and development of Buro Stedelijk, both upon request and on its own initiative. Its advice is non-binding and extends to key matters including the appointment of Buro Stedelijk’s curator and its broader artistic direction.
The Advisory Board is composed of artists and cultural professionals with relevant knowledge, experience and networks. In accordance with its regulations, its composition includes representation from the Rijksakademie, De Ateliers and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, alongside independent members.
Members are appointed by the Board of Directors following consultation with the Advisory Board for a term of three years with the possibility of one reappointment.
The Advisory Board meets at least twice a year.
