Yamuna Forzani is a multidisciplinary artist whose textile based practice centres community, collaboration and building her own queer utopia. Alongside her artistic practice, she has been giving textile workshops for over 10 years at many museums across The Netherlands (including Stedelijk Amsterdam) as well as teaching at institutions including the Royal Academy of Art and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Through creative quilting, embroidery and up cycling workshops for museums, companies and communities, she shares her love for textiles in an engaging and accessible way bringing people together 'offline' to play with materials and experience the joy of textiles together.
